Can't Sign a Player ( the Association )

I edited the rosters, moved players from one team to another. Edited their salary and the saved it. I removed L. Hughes, E. Dampier, T. McGrady, R. Alston, A.I. since they are not signed currently.

I used that save roster and went into the Association mode as the Cavs ( finally, I get to play them.. no more LBJ.. woohoo ), and since I lack firepower I went into free agency thinking I could sign TMAC ( believe it or not he's the only decent free agent left).

Here's the problem.I was able to sign TMAC. However, he doesn't appear on my team and remains in the free agent roster. Tried signing the others with the same result. I got them to agree but they are not in my roster.

What did I messed up with? I have CAP ROOM of about $ 11M and i'm only signing them for a portion of that.

did you use the old official roster?theres a bug on them..just like your case..

wow. i can hardly remember. but i think i used alby's roster update ( not sure what version ), but is his roster based on the official? it that's the case. I guess that's the reason.

BTW: does this mean, if i go on to continue my association, i can't sign free agents?or for the first season alone? I tried and was able to sign free agents for next season but i'm not sure i can sign them all ( of course, i only trieds signing a few )
