hey guys
these sliders are designed for realistic 12 minute quarters on all star difficulty. the goal was to get gameplay and stats as realistic as possible, considered some inherited flaws in the game code, and also to build a slider set that will give a challenge to an average or above average player. this slider set can be downloaded through 2k share under the name EC 12mAStarGSpeed40 (stupid name, didn't know you could add descriptions to the file name).
so here we go:

ok, that would be the set, i think i covered it all. set was tested in an association mode, second season with a heavily changed and balanced bulls team that had a rating of 86. sliders were tested in 12 games (won 10), opposing teams had these overall ratings: 85, 92, 74, 83, 87, 71, 68, 93, 81, 85, 84 and 77. i wrote down stats, and here are the averages (in whole numberes):

flaws of this slider set: this set is build to give a realistic feel for the game, and i belive it does. this means you'll get open on the perimeter if you pass or drive, but you won't always knock that open shot down. if you do drive defense will colapse and try to stop you. unfortunatly, this doesn't work as it should, couse inside d in this game is terrible. however, there are some good things - if a guy is surrounded in the paint and he goes for a score he will most often miss or draw a foul, and he'll rarely sink it, double team isn't as dumb as before etc. however, there are some flaws of this set, but most of them come with the game : lead passes are still to easy, even though you can defend better against them than before. cpu fouls perimeter shooters equally as centers and forwards which kinda sucks. it's still better than before. actually, this set has only one, huge flaw - it's so easy to pass your guy one-on-one with a skilled and quick guy. if i choose an iso play for derrick rose there's no way he won't dribble past his guy and go for a slam or layup, and defense won't react fast enough. however, if i raise cpu quickness there won't be open shots for perimeter guys couse d reacts way too fast and unatural. so, my only fix for this problem is - don't cheese. refrain from using that quick iso play, and you'll be ok. it's a fun set, every game played differently and stats seem realistic (exept for that high assist number, but we all know why is that).
final note: this set should be played with living rosters. 2k10 fixed most of the stuff with these rosters even though i noticed that atlanta hawks were not fixed - they are the only team that constantly drives and kicks out while shooting the ball every other team plays great so have fun, and sorry for my bad english! if you have any question' i'll answer it.
