Ronnie2k fired?

Wed Oct 28, 2009 10:04 am

From: http://www.pastapadre.com/2009/10/27/2k ... h#comments

"In a post on their official forums (which has since been deleted) 2K Sports community manager Ronnie Singh responded to the wide-spread sentiment that the recently released NBA Live 10 patch took into account community feedback. The patch for NBA 2K10 won’t be arriving for some time still and the positive response to the Live patch along with it being out in time for the start of the NBA season prompted the following response:" -pastapadre

"To say that the Live patch was based on community feedback is outrageous. There is no way they could get days/weeks of feedback, build a patch to fix all their issues, have passed cert, etc. without a very simple thing: they were building the patch before release. I shouldn’t even have to make you clear about this. You guys saw our efforts to get actual feedback as we put up countless threads about it. That’s real effort." -Ronnie2k

i doubt he'll get fired, even though he's been the only one from 2k talking shit about Live

Haven't Live been working on their patch since the demo came out?

^Yes. I thought most people knew that.

Fanboys always have selective amnesia.

I guess Ronnie goes off my planned PM list.
He does seem like the kind of guy that will nicely fit in the NLSC even though he looks like he's late for a Gratedul Dead concert.

lol at the comments in that post:
It's as obvious that Ronnie is acting like an unprofessional ass as it is that Padre is pole-jocking for EA like usual.

I suck Pasta's cock on weekends and then we play Live afterwards.

I hate pastapadre. Someone needs to kick that guy in the face.

This comment made the most sense out of all those posted by the Live and 2K fanboys:
someone posted on Pasta Padre wrote:C'mon why does everyone come on here and bash Pasta. This site is like the Fox news of sports gaming, you only get the information he wishes to share. If you don't like what he's sharing then change the channel.

This trivial thing has spilled over to the 2K forums as expected, this one makes sense:

Pasta makes it seem as if Ron made a thread about NBA Live or released an official statement and said that, when in reality he answered a post in a thread.

Pasta isn't professional for trolling for negative 2K press either. Now I don't if what Ron said was true though. So unless you know if it's possible to get a patch out that quick for a game with community feedback, then maybe we shouldn't speak on it.

That "not enough time" excuse is tired now. All these other sports games seem to be able to meet deadlines without sending an unfinished game. The game might suck but it's more finished that 2K was.

We had to pay the FULL damn price for this game, so we expect it to be ready.

I'm ready to move on, but the not enough time excuse ain't our problem, and it sure as hell didn't stop them from trying to sell the game, and going to blogs trying to sell it, or selling Draft Combine add ons.

lol on this post, from the same thread

Why am I reading those, god I'm bored.
