Why don't I have ball or court sounds???????

I can't hear the ball bounces or sneaker squeaks unless the players are on the right side of the court in the default camera view . I have Realtek HD on-board soundcard, I had this problem in 2k9 too. Can anyone help please?????

From what I've read, they use some sort of system with virtual mic's in the game. These sounds are only there if you get within the area of those mic's. Apparently, if you have some sort of 3D surround card, or something like it, you should hear it. Hopefully they'll fix it with the patch.
