CPU Defensive Assist Strength?

Under the controller settings, what does this setting do? I've seen that defenders on my team help way too early, and come off really good three point shooters all the time for help that isn't really necessary. Like Guards coming off their wings to help on the interior when my man is still in front. I've heard that this setting can fix that, or are there others? Is there a specific number I should use. I'm at 10, and I still have this problem. Thanks.

I really would like to know this too. One of the most annoying things for me in this game is when a star player drives into the lane, even though the player I'm controlling has go him covered, the defense ALWAYS collapses and the player kicks it out for a perimeter score, I haven't tried playing around with the Defensive Assist Strength, but I was wondering if it is this or another option I can choose to help remedy this.

that's a big glitch...it's due to the weird player tendecies.
the "kickout" is something i solved this out working on every player ratings..now you will see Kobe Melo and TP driving insane in the lane,taking good mid range jump shots, Shaq attacking the rim like a beast. hopefully i'm going to release this new pre patch-roster in a new thread this evening once i fixed last stuff.

i just can't understand defense. i turn off double team for all players, but my players still double team.. that's too easy for pc to score points.. and they make every single shot, that's making me nervous..
i have no problems with offense though.
