Online Servers Status Thread (1/15 Working)

Postby JaoSming on Mon Oct 12, 2009 1:56 am

Use this thread to comment on the Status of the Online 2k10 PC servers. Whether they are up, down, all around or fixed, post it here.

Is everyone getting the error that the online servers are full? I was able to connect in the wee hours of Friday Night / Saturday Morning but ever since then I get an error that they are full.

Is anyone able to connect?
Opinions are my own.

Same here. Could do it on Friday, but after that - no luck. Pirates are flooding the servers. Now 2ksports will have to invest in their servers, because they did not include online mode activation with SN. As I understand the DVD version comes without a serial number. Lame move.

I highly doubt this. I am sure that this is due to the fact that 2ksports took 2k9 PC sale numbers and checked whether their servers can cope with that (meaning that if the same numbers could simultaneously play it online), and after "thorough" check they decided to go forward with 2K10, but now they are fucked, because there are million users trying to connect to 2ksports.

All they have to do now, is invest 100k into upgrading their servers :D

Yep. Full all the time. I managed to sign in yesterday, but did not try playing online and forgot to download the latest rosters.

Are they any different from original ones? Iverson, Sessions etc. are still free agents.

Bummer.. I would like to start an association, but obviously will have to wait for a while.

Maybe anyone else managed to download those Living Rosters?

couldnt load a ranked game, waited 45 seconds

tried 2 unranked, first one lagged out, and somehow the ass gave me negative feedback when i didnt even get that option

2nd one was a game of runs back and forth, ended up losing by 12 or so

it did have some lag, ~10 frames per second less than what I'm used to.

you can do that

what I've been doing is pressing "2" on the keyboard and bringing up the "who's online" list. then pressing "3" to make myself viewable to others. then I usually pick someone with good ping and invite them to a game which is always unranked.
