Xbox 360 Controller buttons.

Can anyone please make a patch for Xbox360 controller buttons? like the one made for NBA 2k9. Thanks.

most dont have the game yet. give em some time its not even the 12th yet.

was it global cos if it was its not in there..

I spent a few minutes and imported the one I was using in 2k9 into 2k10. The longest part was sorting though all the sequences to find the texture in 2k10

gamedata.iff is the one for ingame over player's heads icons

The iff editor crashes on my machine :/

If some one can figure out where are the icons located i can replace them with both Xbox 360 and PS icons same like what i did with 2K9.

I've tryed the old ones, but doesn't work for me... And I'm not much of a patcher like JaoSming to make it myself, although I did try and fail Can you JaoSming at least upload your files? Would be much appreciated, even better if someone makes PS icons... tnx

I also tried out the Xbox 360 controller icons- the one without the need for TextMod and the one which needs to be loaded via TextMod. In the former, the game crashed to desktop. In the latter (which uses TextMod), it just did not work. The icons are still A, B, C,D, LF1, etc.

I've tryed the one with Text-Mod and got the same result as you did.

After a lot of sorting through the game files i found the icons located in the english.IFF file but after editing them there is no change i guess there is more than what i have already found.

Copy "english.iff" and "gamedata.iff" into your MLB 2K9 folder.

i have changed the icons for the logitech ones, the file is gamedata.iff and if i remember well the textures of the controller are 9 and 90, you can extract and import again with iff editor

can u change for the xbox also? I guess u can use the Za man's 2k9 buttons? Sure Za man wouldnt mind

8LAL24, Same, I accidently throw to wrong player all the time. Really messed up 2k didnt have it already set up in the game.

Mmm for PS2 version i can try, but you have to tell me which buttons corrispond to standard 2k10 icons.
