My Player mode bug

Hey guys, just experiencing what i would think is a bug in the game, just want to know if anyone else has encountered this...

I am in the Dakota Wizards in the my player mode.. and the 2k insider keeps popping up like the last 5 games saying "sorry but you have been dumped from the wizards, but i spoke on the phone with the wizards and they want u to play for them"

it is becoming weird.. has anyone been signed by an NBA team after playing in d-league? if so, how long did it take etc?

im still in summer cicuit hahahahah

so can u only play 5 min quarters on whatever default difficulty it has?

LOL one of my objectives was to hold my opposing PG to 1 assist lol how unrealistic..

So it is indeed possible to change the length at least in offline, just kind of tricky and annoying. AT LEAST IT'S POSSIBLE!

EDIT: If you didn't buy the DC, you MUST change quarter length before you create your myplayer

2k should have made this easier to know about IMO, but whatever we all know now and none of us have wasted time on My Player because none of us have 2k10 so hooray!

It _is_ possible to change it! Celebrate. However, what I had to do was not only change it in settings before starting, but also having to save the settings to an external file. When I did that, it worked.

Also, you have to start a new My Player mode (wtf?), you cannot change it after the mode is started.

EDIT: UPDATES: YOUR PLAYER FROM DC WILL WORK, YOU JUST NEED TO REMEMBER TO DO A SETTINGS CHANGE AND SAVE IT BEFORE YOU START MY PLAYER, OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE TO DELETE YOUR MY PLAYER AND START OVER.

Hmm I just tried that but didnt work.. maybe cause i'm on ps3 not xbox i dunno...

So has my problem with being dumped and signed to the same d-league team happened to anyone else?
