Just thought I start a Wishlist for next year

It will be real rough for now

But hopefully everyone will add to it

and we will be able to send 2kSports are desires for next years PC Game or add it to an existing 2k Thread.


1. At least put fake announcers at the Halftime Report instead of blank desk
(Talk to CH2k8 developers on how to do this)

2. Animations are great now please work 50% Gameplay Tuning 50% Franchise Tuning
(College Hoops 2k8 had Pre Game Shows , Halftime shows, Wrap up shows, and even a College Hoops Tonight-
broadcasts w/ weekly top matchups , leaders , and highlights)
(Gameplay- Smarten Up Defense Awr. , Get rid of player morphing , Each team needs team specific plays)

3. I would love 2kInsider but thats a long shot on the PC
(Updated Rosters with Hot and Cold , Transactions , Contracts)

4. More great Presentation Effects the little effects like coaches pacing or yelling at officials
(Tech fouls please , Crowd Emotion more Up and Downs and a couple Hecklers and Boos)

5. Continue on NBA Blacktop almost perfect now very fun to play 21 3 on 3 Dunk Contest cool stuff
(More Courts , More Jersey Options, more "street moves")

I gotta say I love the game as it is. What would make it perfect for me is just one teensy little thing:

In-game save!

Being a player who needs to play 12 minute quarters to get the real feeling of nba ball, I often choose not to play because I'd have to dedicate about 1.5 hours to nba 2k9. That's just too much. I can't imagine that implementing an in-game saving possibility would be a big deal for the next iteration of the series. Maybe saving during the quarter break would be an option to consider. That way, users couldn't exploit it to go for the game-winner again and again.

scoreboard like 2k8 so it would show when somebody would score, get a rebound etc. lets say that kobe scores and he has 21 points... scoreboard would show 21 fg 8/16 (50%). that would be just awesome
more comparsions between two teams (reb vs reb, blocks vs blocks)
team stats in game (season vs tonight/today or wth)
ONLINE for PC!!! i would apreciatte that feature if it would be on PC, cause i don't have x360 or ps3

My 2 main problems Morphing and No TV Show ingame

I was actually compiling a wishlist but you beat me to it!
Anyway here is what I had:


-ASSOCIATION:
-10 day contracts
-Real time training sessions; not necessarily that affect the players' ratings, but just something where you can have a shoot- around with a particular player, or a one-on-one between a couple of guys, or even a short practice match involving the whole team to get a better feel for what the guys can do, instead of 'practicing' in a real match.
-Dunk contest / 3 PT shootout / Rookie game on All-Star weekend as well as just the All-Star game


ALSO:
-Ability to change hairstyles on players so that if someone grows/cuts their hair in real life, it can be represented in the game also.

-Option to select singlets tucked in or out as some players don't tuck them in

-Live rosters for PC

-More thorough QA testing to ensure less game crashes

-More retro jerseys

-Game pace can still lead to overly high scores at times unless the user takes deliberate measures to slow the match down. This is a hard thing to control for developers and 2K have done well, but I personally believe this could still be improved a little.

-Players who position themselves with their foot close to or over the out of bounds line on offence. Extremely irritating when you pass off to one of these guys whose first pivot is to step backwards out of bounds.

-Offensive fouls. Some of these calls go the wrong way. Countless times I've driven in, only to have a guy step out in front of my drive at the very last second and my player gets called for the charge.

-Team momentum exaggeration. A common problem found in NBA Live, I'm a little disappointed to see that this happens in 2K sometimes. Players shouldn't miss the easiest of open shots or layups just because the other team is on a roll. If Al Jefferson is barely contested by Steve Nash no amount of momentum on the other team is going to stop that guy from throwing it down or even laying it in over the little man.

Fix the Goaltending bug
Fix the portraits for generated rookies
Remove the guys that move up and down at the crowd (all same and annoying)
3pt Shootout,Dunk contest,Skills Challenge in Association and Season
Better Momentum
More follow dunks (they rarely happen)
Add more street dribbles,off the backboard alley-oops,more courts like 2K8 in Blacktop
Give the players some freestyle boost!!!e.g. in 2k8's strret mode (PS2) you could do a windmill or tomahawk with Arenas!!!
Make Living Rosters for PC downloadable from your site in .exe format so the ones that don't have Internet connection can download them from Internet cafes etc.
Rights for the Dream Team and especially MJ.

All those additional modes and gimmicks are not important. I just need a basic bball game with full customization, realism and no major bugs. It is not that difficult but the majority of gamers wants to go higher and higher with more and more features. A basic game would be fine:

1) Quick games, season mode, association mode, playoff mode, practice mode.
2) Association as in 2k9 with decent generated rookies.
3) Possibility to create an unlimited amount of teams and players.
4) Possibility to import jpgs etc., edit rosters...or in general: the game data (gfx, sfx, settings, rosters) should be in an unprotected and known file format.

That's it!

Remove "The Force" in HOF difficulty, they're not EA Sports. I have seen to many alley-oop interceptions wherein the defender didn't even jump yet I could see the intercept animation and even hear the ball being tapped in replay.

Comprehensive tabulated stats outside assocaiation/season mode. Like able to sort out the players/team leaders in a particular stat category, without having to browse each team separately.

- A vastly improved simulation stats engine. For people like me who really want to get into their associations, this is a must. Never having teams finish with more than 50 wins or less than 30 and Dirk Nowitzki leading the league in Rebounding with 9.4 isn't acceptable.
- The 3pt shootout and dunk contests being moved to All-Star Weekend
- The return of the multitude of all of the stupidly removed streetball courts and options
- A better overall ratings system without scrubs like Al Thornton having ratings in the mid-80s
- A far more intuitive menu system for Association mode
- The ability to download/upload association saves
- Update the 10 year old Create-A-Team feature
- An option to download uninjured living rosters
- Living NBA season: The ability to start an Association from the NBA's current status. (Player averages, team records, date, etc.)

- would like to know what kind of draft it is ( Very Strong Draft say full of allstars superstars like 2003, weak draft like I think was 06)


- player introductions before the game


- draft list ( from the first season to the very last season there will be a draft list showing who each team drafted, what college there from, there height etc etc etc)

- Be able to watch highlights of other games that day ( think ESPN 2K5 football game)

- Would actually like to see a few undersized players ( PF 6'7". SG 6'1") but not overdone like in NBA Live
