NBA 2K10 Digital Download

Hi all,

I just purchased it on gamersgate now but still does not show the download option, btw i purchased the 2k10 US since i can't order the other 2k10 (regular), it says it's not available on my location, funny though i stay in singapore but some in the philippines were able to buy the regular 2k10.

probably means i need to wait until the 12th in order for me to download it, sigh....

we are the same iskitoy i was also able to buy in gamersgate and it says its not available in my location..but they do told me that i can have my game next week (Wednesday)

Muahahahah. Downloading it from gamersgate. They think I am from Sweden or something. Will have in 6 hours.

How did you do it Pdub Hiding your IP? or changing your IP?

used a german web proxy to make an account and buy the game, but I didn't complete the purchase through the proxy for security reasons. I was able to finish my purchase withot the proxy and download normally.
I wonder if it's enough to just share the little 65 kb exe that downloads the game.

doubt it, you gotta get a serial number too from gamersgate

If you guys want it early, and are willing to pay more money, go to the above link. Pick a non-US proxy from the left(I chose one that said "DE") and create an account at gamersgate, purchase the game through paypal, but do not log into paypal through the proxy for security reasons. Open another browser without the proxy, login to gamersgate, and complete the transaction which will take you through paypal. It will say it's $45 US, but paypal still shows 29.99 USD. Once you complete it, you can see the cd-key at the "purchased games" screen, and you can click download and it will give you a small program to run(nba2k10.exe). Run that program and you will download 2K10 which will install as soon as it's done downloading.

I don't recommend people do this if they are paying directly by credit card.

Hey Pdub can you confirm if the game is Xbox 360 Controller Friendly? Like games such as GTA IV and Protoype for PC have Xbox icons reset and they have the option to Vibrate.

However, I can't "login" to play online. It just asks me for a username and password, but I am not sure what to put there. I thought I could just create one, but that's not the case.

hey pdub. i just installed 2k10 and tried goin online. at first there was no option to register but after i went to practice mode and fooled around i tried online again and there was a register option this time so try that

I tried my 2ksports.com account, and my username has a dash in it, which is grayed out on the keyboard so it can't be selected when making a username.

I didn't notice the "register" at the bottom before. doh.

So far, I haven't really enjoyed my 2K10 experience. It's probably going to need an official patch, a roster update, and a lot of slider tweaks. No screens or vids today.
