evidently if you buy the gamersgate digital copy now, you can goto the "my games" section and begin downloading it right now. The guy at the 2k forums who bought it said this is how he got the game to start downloading.

my gamestop.com pre-order with Free one day shipping starts shipping tomorrow.... Thank God I have minor nuisances like life and school to pre occupy me until the game comes.

The site says to wait until the release date. But I clicked in my games and the download was avaiable!!! I don't know if it's only for Brazil. I saw in the 2k sports forum that a brazilian was already downloading the game. So, I just did the same as him!

Yeah, I can download the game from gamersgate right now. And Steam still hasn't set a price on its 2K10 game.

Let us know guys if you can already play the game after you download and install it. Mine's gonna take a long time with my 1mbps or so connection

im sry, can anyone tell me how does this activation serial thing work ? like wheres the code. i havent downloaded from gamersgate before i looked into the gamergate page a lil and it says it should be next to the gamename, but it isnt, theres just the download link

no : / i sent an email to support, but im guessin the activation will maybe appear once the game is actually released ? in which case the downloaders will still havta wait till midnight. this bites imma continue to look for the stupid key

i found this:

which means, games that have preload should work 6 hours before release. NBA does NOT have the preload feature, therefore im pretty sure im correct on this one now. its downloadable, yes. just wont work untill releasedate. damn it all

sounds logical, that there is no activation b4 the actual release date, BUT is the release date 9th or 12th??? i'm really confused right now

it says october 9 there, i heard the dvdcopy is out on 12, the digital should be 9th, atleast thats what it says

please post information that you have received the activation key and in what form in here, as soon as you get the activation key. I sent gamersgate an e-mail about this, but no response yet.

Purchased and Downloaded yesterday from GamersGate but still waiting for serial number, it says october 9th on thiir site so hope i'll get one and start playing today.

i just got the SN .. it's located in gamergate profile if anyone has dificulties finding it

got it too now, yea its at my games -> purchased games, right next to nba 2k10 name and box art
