Fortunately, there are forums like this and OS.In 2k forums 9 out of 10 users are retarded teenagers and if someone seeks there info about the pc patch will surely have a nerves breakdown in the end.

I do not using patch, i got us exe...patch isnt working. Patch recognize version of game in other way than exe file.

possibly, the international version of the patch is coming out today sometime on 2k's website, try that when it comes out

Patch is great, contains all consoles fixes plus 16:10 aspect ratio support

Is that right? That'd be great, I haven't played the game for ages mainly because of that lazy oversight on 2K's part.

hey guys, I have the DVD US version of the game...

installed the patch but when the game starts and its loading crew info, it crashes to desktop. anyone know why this is happening?

I don't have much patches installed, just a few pairs of shoes from LazyMac and a couple faces from Mir.

it's because the online servers arent patched yet, so if you have the patched game, you can't get online right now (this will be changed within 24 hours I guess)

there should be 2 exe's in your folder now, 1 patched, and your original. load the game up with the original exe, log out of online, then login again and set remember me to no. Then logout again, quit the game, then start the patched exe, it will keep you signed out when you load up

I only have one exe in my folder... I just turned off my internet and I was able to get into the game.

only played a quick game of my player.... gameplay is definitely different, scoring in the paint is much harder, alot less alley oops. The jerseys arent fixed though, but that is minor compared to the other problems we've experienced.

it works on my US version no online for now, though but its fine

i used crack,because i lost my cd and now if i update my patch then i cant play anymore..it asks for me to use cd

workaround to go online.. just make new gamertag and ur good to go worked for me atleast... got this crash issue too.

After getting the PC Patch (Yes, finally!),

I've noticed that superstars are more aggressive and are looking to score more often! (That was my biggest concern and they fixed it!)

It is also harder to drive in the lane now, and I haven't seen too many bullet passes into the paint for an easy 2.

The only concern that I have now is that the Sports ticker is at the bottom of the screen even if I change the option to "No" (it's blank)

But the patch makes the game feel a lot better and much more realistic! Good Job 2K! Hopefully they release the patch for 2K11 earlier next time!

For those, who are getting:

"The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the WIndows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exist on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch."

1. Extract the nba2k10_patch_v1.1.exe
2. Go to any folder and go to: Tools/Folder Options/View and uncheck "hide extensions for known file types". Apply the settings.
3. Rename nba2k10_patch_v1.1.exe to nba2k10_patch_v1.1.rar
4. Open nba2k10_patch_v1.1.rar and extract the nba2k10_patch_v1.1.msp
5. Right-click on nba2k10_patch_v1.1.msp/open with/winRar
6. Extract the two files found in the archive and replace them to your nba 2k10 directory.

Remember to backup your nba2k10.exe

Hey I was reading the patch notes on the 2k forums and it says:

- When using the Living Roster, users can now play standard Quick Games with players who are injured in real life.

I tried a quick game and injured players are still injured, like there is no Chris Paul on the Hornets, meaning they really didn't fix that or am I doing something wrong?

Also it seems the jerseys are still missing Raptors Huskies jersey, Rockets latin jersey, etc. how do we fix this?

how do i know which version do i have ?
im from asia

Probably the international release unless you (or the place you got it from) imported it from the US. If one version doesn't work, try the other. If you have a digital download version of course, neither of the newly released patches will work.

After i installed the patch none of my games will start...I mean i select teams and all that and once i press enter to start a quick game(or anything else), then it just shows me the starting lineup and throws me back to the team select menu...Did i install the patch wrong or whats going on ?


Edit: Now i just noticed that it also has "Demo Mode" flasing on the bottom of the screen...what is thiiis :/

tried the patch out....it's working fine...and thanks to the missing jerseys pack....but with no online feature yet, is a bummer....all is good...willing to wait for more updates...
