I have a problem. Whenever I complete the first season of association, and try to play a game in the second season, the game either crashes or does not go past the team previews before the actual game. Is there a reason for this?

I have a weird issue I just discovered. I ran the benchmark and the fps it shows was much different than what fraps displayed. Fraps was showing 56-60 while in the half court and the benchmark fps was stuck at 44. So I go to play an online game and actually finish my first online game and notice that the fps maxed out at 44, and was perfectly cut in half to 22 during off-ball scenes when it display overlays, which is quite similar to the ~29 fps I get during offline games during those off ball scenes, while getting ~58 during gameplay.

Anyone know how to play a "ranked" game?

I'm on PS3, but I assume its the same for PC.

Select "Quick Game" from the main menu and there should be a "Ranked Game" link in the middle of the next screen (between the two teams). You can choose teams after the game finds you an opponent.

I've a problem in My Player Mode

I finished my first season with the Bulls, after i've lost with Cleveland in the semifinals

After that i cannot continue with the game, because every time I go to "Play next game" nothing happens. Also the shedule is empty: no games sheduled

I don't Know what to do

Can anybody helps me??

Guys please help me i have this problem : the jerseys are broken i mean i see white boxes in stead of a jersey number and the player name and the other problem is that i can't hear the menu songs and the ref calls please can you help me ?

I have the following problem and I need help.
I play in “My player” mode (pc version) and some times when the quarter end and my player is one of five players who finish the quarter, the next quarter not start.

check your video card settings, it might be your adaptive anti aliasing is turned on, or check your msaa settings

PROBLEM FIXED!!!
turned off the "Adaptive Anti-aliasing", which causes the hair bug/glitch!

How can you change difficulty, game minutes etc in my player mode after patch? I cant find it ;o

Minutes is somewhere in options when you've loaded My Player, or somewhere in there, just look for it. I can't recall if you can change difficulty.
You can also turn off the annoying 2K Insider in the screen from where you can change the minutes.

Played as the Magic. Start of the half. I was pressing the A button (360 controller) to skip the presentations and advance quickly to the gameplay. Seems like I advanced too fast as the bench, cheerleaders, mascot, and refs are still in the court taking a breather. I kept playing like that for 3 possessions until I decided to call a timeout to bring things back to normal. My team kept warping back to their huddle and I was always getting called for back court violations. Cost me the momentum and 20 point lead.

First time it happened to me post-patch.

When glitches like this happen, best thing to do is to save game and quit, then load it again and it's back to normal

Thanks, I'll do that when a glitch wherein the referee or any player can't take the ball and it just lies there on the floor. You can only call a timeout if the ref or any of your player has possession of the ball so the timeout fix doesn't work when that happens. I forgot that 2K10 has a save game feature.

This happened to me more than once. The amazing defense happens up 'til far off baseline if the shot clock permits.

^That happens when you assign your defender to "deny ball" on an opposing player. It has won me a game before because of the cpu script being so persistent in trying to get him the ball, and the ball handler just dribbling the clock out.

Yeah, but I recall that I didn't/don't put 'deny ball' on Delonte West or any nonsuperstar player for that matter, I only assign 'deny ball' to superstars or players on fire for the whole game. I might have assigned to play 'tight' D on Delonte like I do usually with shooters. The cpu does shoot the ball when the clock runs out when that glitch happens to me.
