Ultra high graphic patch from 2k9 works with 2k10!!!

i dun have 2k9, so how to change in 2k10? which folder to change. thanx
my pc is Intel Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, NIVIDIA 7950GT 512MB, 2GB RAM

First apply "Show hidden files"
Then go to this directory.
Documents and settings->Username->Application data->2K Sports->NBA 2K10->Saves
and edit the config.cfg file

my game crashed when i tried to edit it at first .. does this happen to anyone else ? by the way, can anyone suggest me the best setting for my system ? my specs: core 2 duo 9600, 1gb ddr3 ati 4670, 4gb dd3 ram, vista home premium 64bit.

can anyone help me, my game looks visually great, and it runs great, it appears that I am running full speed, Animations are completely smooth, the seconds tick off of the clock in actual time (usually my biggest indicator for detecting fps in my games), but whenever I run the benchmark in-game, it says it is only running at 15-20 fps, even though it looks just as fast and smooth as it always does. This problem doesnt have ANY affect on my gameplay, I can play the game fine and it looks and feels great, no lag at all and this is with all settings on high and slight AA (2x) turned on (the only lag I got with all the settings high was after quarters and sometimes during timeouts and stuff, but if I turn the crowd detail to medium it completely disappears, understandable), so yeah, in general it is a non-issue because its not affecting gameplay, the problem comes because the game set my online framerate for very low. It has to be some sort of bug or something because I think I would VISUALLY SEE if my game was running 1/4 to 1/3 speed, so I think something may be off. Any insight on this?

sorry, I figured it out. For some reason when I turned V-sync back on it shot my framerate up to around 55 fps

With OP's preferred settings, I'm getting around 75 fps on blacktop, but only 25-30 fps on a FRAPs test, and 16-21 with the ingame benchmark. How would I get this up, settings tweaked for above stats?

1. tone down graphics settings and turn off MSAA
2. upgrade video card (at least 9600GT performance) and add more RAM

Hey, I havent tried this yet but my game is running 1680x1050 MSAA- 8x And Everything at HIGH at 82fps.
Will changing my settings, allow me to set everything at Ultra High (which is not even available now) or r my settings the best it gets?

i tried this n got a fast game as in they are movin fast. but stil get a hiccup of alil lag wen passing or doing fast plays (1680x1050 vsync on MSAA off, all high except for crowd set to medium)... here are my specs

Player lod is 0 as default, when i try to change it it always roll back to 0, is it changeable in 2k10 or i have a problem with something, last year we could change player lod in 2k9.

when i change my config file to this below it get new court (correct one of the arena) but the logo's on the court show the outline for that logo in a white setting anyone can help with this, because the Game is Awesome when it in that mode.

i edited my config page on nba2k10/saves because the only way i could play the game on regular speed was by putting every video option on low/off.

first, it didn't work so i reedited the config putting the former numbers (1,-1,-1,-1)
and second and worst... now even on low/off the game is lagging, never did that before !

anyone to help me? please !

anyone who still is having a slight stuttering almost i pretty much fixed mine hopefully after the patch is out i'll beable to play completely maxed. i have msaa set to 4/7, med crowd, high player, high stadium, no bench, high textures, no depth or reflection's i get a very stedy 59-61 fps here's my config file one thing that i noticed help the most with the stutter is changing the main logical thread to 0 from 1.. here's the rest

I have seen alot of different config files here and and on the internet.

My main problem is that no one has any proof that there configs work.

I have not seen any Fraps screens or Old and New Screens.

They just claim to get a boost.

Plus every system is different some people have 1 core 2 cores or 4 cores.

Most systems I see the problem is the Graphic Card.

Spend money on CPU and Graphic Card <---- most important.

Plus no one actually explains what each setting does.
