I was getting around 270 kb/s with a few disconnections. The game took about 6-7 hours to download. So far, you two from the philippines are getting a really slow connection. I did a check and gamersgate is in germany. Other people have reported slow downloads before, usually when a game just gets released and a lot of people are downloading it.

If I were you, i would request a refund since you wouldn't finish the download for a week. Then you can just get it from Steam.

im in singapore (well that still Southeast Asia lol) and my internet speed is usually around 8-10mbps..I remember downloading at up to 1mbps from STEAM and when I bought NFS SHift from EA store it was also very fast...

this is just unacceptable

If i do ask for a refund, how fast do you think will it reflect on my credit card bill?

PPL HOW HAVE PROBLEMS WITH DL SPEED:

You are obviously dwnloading the Europe version, meaning you're downloading from a Euro server!

I'm from Europe and I'm currently downloading with nice speed (450 -900mbps).
Gamersgate site rocks, cuz paying through paypal is really quik (even in night time) and easy! (i don't have a credit card, but my bank has the option for a virtual one)
I know it's 30 bucks there, but when i buy it from here, Estonia, it costs around 47 bucks and will be available 15th the eariliest!

Should have the game in about 3 hrs.

I was able to access my purchased games, it shows the serial but no download option?

Not sure... I started mine last night... Try clearing your cache and cookies and see if it fixes the issue. If not, I would contact them. Might be they are just getting hammered.

For all of you having problems at gamersgate-

Go to this link - http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-NBA2K10/nba-2k10
Make sure you are logged in. If you aren't, log in and then go to that link.
To the right of the cover image should be a few links, like "gift this game," "buy," "add to wishlist," and "Download."
Click Download. You will get the small downloader application named NBA2K10.exe.
Run it and the download should start.
I just tested this right now and it works.

Gamersgate took the game offline (disabled the download link) but now it is back up. I assume they fixed the problem and re-packaged the download. It's back up and running...but really slow. I guess a lot of people are hitting their servers for the game now. I am getting DL speeds between 50 and 120KB/s and the download manager is showing me as 17% done (1.1GB after 2-3 hours) with 10-14 hours to go. The wait is killing me.

This post is not good for me, Im downloading the orignal one posted b4 they took it down....Been downloading for about 9 hours and at 56%.... I hope i can cleanly install or its suicide...

dwpshacktown - My comment about the corrupt file is just based on a couple of posts to the Gamersgate forum. The timing of the download going offline and then back makes me think they may have been fixing something. I hope your download picks up the repaired file (if there is one)...or I hope the missing donwload link was for some other reason. It would really (really really) suck to DL this beast for 12 hours just to get a bad install. Let us know how it turns out.

I'm now at 26% with like 10-12 hours to go. This is excrutiating.

I just bought the US version from Gamers Gate, its going ~50kbs pretty disapointing but hopefully itll be done when i get back from work

might actually be more practical to download via torrent then use the key i just bought

AWESOME 20 hours to download this from gamersgate, tried to install and got a error ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? So far i got 4 errors, choosing to ignore them all.... Will they give me a refund?

yup also went through gamersgate and i get it installed but its asking for a cd/dvd rom this will be my first and last digital download. i'm going after work tomorrow to buy a copy hopefully they arent all sold out over here
