Talk about NBA 2K10 here.

From simballer at OS (a 2k Dev)
As we're fine tuning the performance now, it looks like the specs are going to be the same as last year. That being said, we have a rig with a 1.2ghz Celeron, 512MB ram, and an x800 that is running ~15-20 FPS on the lowest settings. That should give you an indication of how much better the performance is this year on lower end systems.
Shader Model 2.0 is fully supported this year, though the system requirements are going to say 3.0 or higher.
Rejoice and be glad peoples

Hope I can play the game with better resolution.

That PC is a piece of shit so I'm extremely impressed that it runs it at all. Good news.

Are you sure about this guys. . .I guess I have to consider 3850 and 3870.
Which could run the game with the highest settings and resolution.
Thanks guys!

Thanks to the OP for the info, glad to see that one won't need a beast of a machine to run it.

This just made my day. It means that I will be able to play 2K10 on my crappy desktop without having to upgrade it or buy a new one. I was starting to get worried about not being able to play it without buying a new desktop.
Tue Sep 22, 2009 2:38 pm
yeah this is great no need for me to upgrade
Sat Sep 26, 2009 2:03 pm
this is the minimum sys req for nba 2k10 according to OS
OS: Windows Vista, XP, or 2000 CPU | CPU: Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz Single Core
processor or equivalent (2.8 Ghz for Vista) RAM: 512 MB or more (1 GB for Vista) Disc Drive: 8x or
faster DVD drive | Hard Drive: 10.5 GB or more free space | Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible * | Sound:

* Video card with 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets is required: ATI x1300
