My Player grades problem

Mon Oct 26, 2009 8:42 am

I have started new My Player career and I'm playing with 6'1 pass-first point guard and I can't seem to get any higher grades than B-, even though i really play pass-first and get like 6-9 assists per game. I don't know what to do because it starts to annoy me.

The other thing is that even if I'm open and I shoot there is this information about bad shooting decisions and my grade gets lower.

If it's going to continue I will never get my player to the NBA.

You can't get good grades just because you can pass. You've to fight for rebounds, set screens, choose layups instead of shots from distance, play good defense etc. It's actually pretty easy to get good grades and built your career.

Btw you need high shooting rating (I have it around 65-67 and I usually take only open shots or drive the lane for a layup) or last second shots to get good shot selection info.

Take it to the hoop every single possession. You either get an easy layup or break down the D for an easy assist. I had a scoring PG, but I averaged 50 and 16 per36 on 60% shooting by doing that.

yup, take it to the hoop, setup up off ball and on ball screens, grab rebounds, dont leave your man and do some double moves :) :D

also run some fastbreaks.

ok here a tips :)

depend well.. because poor defense greatly reduces your grade so give more importance to defense.. ,well dont forget offense too :)

i observe the grading system i do some scoring and rebound and dimes but when my man score over me or he get some assist i get high grade deduction than my offensive contribution...

your grade wont go up if you just giving assist... your coach wants you to score too... and better if you get some rebounds... an all-rounded performance is better than focusing on a single role.. like being a passing guy... so better get assist and score or rebound and score...
