you will be in D-League when you don't perform well in the summer camp. if you average A+ you will be able to choose a team for training camp.

if your in d-league you should have 3 straight A+ games, (i think) that's what happened to me. the hawks sign me a 10-day contract.

That wasn't the question. He wanted to know how to sim through D-league so he just play in the NBA right away since he doesn't want to bother playing in the D-league.

You probably didn't make the cut after the 5th game. It's also dependent on the depth of rotation (example: trying to make the Bulls roster (as a guard) with their abundance of quality guards is quite difficult), try out for teams that NEED your services and you'll have a better chance on making the team.

That being said, the joy, relief and pride I felt after my point guard (2nd time around) showed up in full Hawks uniform was through the roof :D

Just keep at it. Its not meant to be easy! (Y)

my scoring pg (started it after completely failing as a PF) got cut after the 5th game and then went on to play in the d-league for a couple of games where he averaged a B rating (couple of great games, a few where i sucked). then i was offered a 10 day contract by the raptors. first game was against the heat, after like 2 minutes at the point i was subbed in as SG, playing against wade.. yeah, great :|

at least i still got a c+. second game was against the magic and went pretty well. quite a lot of assists, some easy layups and an a-. next game was against the nets. luckily i mostly played SG again.. it was kinda pointless trying to defend harris. i got a b+ or something. and in the current game i'll have to defend chris paul..

despite its numerous flaws (being subbed out for 1 possession.. GREAT, especially since it takes quite a few seconds until you can start the sim, not playing in the position you want [i played as SF in a couple of games as a 6ft 180pound PG..], weird sound, being punished for your teammates flaws, such as your guy scoring on a fastbreak someone else caused, idiotic out of bounds/backcourt violations etc) it's a lot of fun.

so, my point is.. just keep playing. progress is slow in my player, but it's worth it in the end :)
