Graphic glitch on players shorts

Hey guys, wondering if anyone else ran into a graphic glitch on their players shorts, it shows up as black spots on the shorts and the lower half of the jerseys. I have my player detail set to medium everything else to high, if I run high player the game lags and is not playable. Wondering if anyone could help me out with this one?

I have the nvidia 8600 gt 1 gig, 4 gigs ram ,dual core I lagged in 2k9 with ultra high settings, and am lagging on high this year

I don't know about black spots on the shorts, but the low frame rate with ultra-high detail from 2K9 was either fixed by the official patch,or an updated processor driver since AMD dual core users were the only people experiencing it, or by modding a config file. I can only assume it is the same with NBA 2K10.

I think you are experiencing clipping issues. Clipping is where two meshes, or 3D models, merge through and overlap each other. The black spots you are seeing are the player black under garments they wear showing through the jersey mesh which is 'physically' surrounding the player model.

Since you are playing the game with player detail on medium the jersey cloth physics are off and do not register the 'collision' points of the player model to 'bounce' away from the collision point. NBA2K9 had the same issue with player detail on High as opposed to the max option Ultra High in the game.

Simply put, you need to use High player detail to fix the black spots.

Thanks man, I wish I could put player detail on high, when I do the fps is like 4 on the performance test. The game is unplayable on jump shots the ball is in the air forever, and everything is just terribly slow. Thanks, any suggestions appreciated.

I actually thought my cpu was the issue not my card, the specs I have are in my post at the top of the page. Shows how much I know, thanks for any insight.
