NBA 2K9 attracted so many gamers on the PC, that it would be a crime if they dropped the PC version.

...they attracted them, but I really wouldn't be surprised if more than half of the active users here pirated the game, whether because it wasn't available for them to buy, or just because that is what PC gaming has become.
