historical rookies

Hi, I haven't been to this forum a while so .... hi everyone 
spent last few years playing 2k (and occasionally live) exclusively on my console and just got to know of all the great historical patches for da PC!
I'm thinking of picking up one of the 90s rosters (BTW, the quality of PC patches are just breathtaking. kudos to all the patchers out there)
Before I go out and buy the game and everything, though, I would like to know (yes i have tried searching) if there are historical rookie patches which i can apply to those historical rookies.
As much as I love reliving historical seasons, I do not want generic rookies to replace future and current NBA stars.
Any insights?
