I know that it's probably possible, although I'm not sure how to do it. What I'm looking to do is play all of my games in an empty stadium, instead of with the crowd and sideline figures. I'm playing on a low end laptop, which will run it fine during a scrimmage in the practice stadiums, but when the crowd and sideline get in the picture, it become almost unplayable at 15fps.
My question is, where to start with this? Anyone have any ideas on how to acheive this. I don't care if I have crowd noise or not, just as long as it's playable.

You can remove the crowd, not sure if it would work with sideline characters.
The method I have in mind wouldnt give you performance boosts though, atleast its what I experienced.
What you could try to do though is to replace the arenas with empty ones.
