Question about 'Shooting in Traffic'

Does upgrading Shooting in Traffic affects contact layups? Or is it basically just for jumpshots and post shots?

I think it is for improving contested jump shot's success. To improve the success of contact layups you need to upgrade layup and inside shooting ratings

And shoot off dribble, I think. If you take a look at the drills, the attack the basket layup drills can increase shoot off dribble, so in theory increasing that help, too.
On another note, when I increased the shoot in traffic slider(2K8? 2K9?) I got more pull up jumpers from the cpu.

So I guess Shoot in traffic doesn't affect layup but inside shot and of course layup will do the job, thanks.
