What kind of account do I need for NBA today

How do I sign up to play online and get updates??? It says i have to log in with an account.

In game head to the online section, there should be log-in, register, log out buttons. Register and make an account and log-in with it and you should be set. The only problem I've encountered is that the servers seem to be always full so its a pain to even get in.

Ok, thanks it says 2K's server is not available at this time. Is that normal?? I did manage to download the living rosters update before I lost my connection though, that's all I really wanted anyway.

they are being flooded with new users so I wouldnt be surprised if we get shotty online servers for at least the next week.
