Hi Guys,

I'm a complete newbie to the modding world and I'm having trouble loading the 92 season mod. I've downloaded all the rar files from the thread and have been following the instructions (I think) to install the mod but it doesn't seem to be working quite right (I have a mishmash of old school and new school portraits on the wrong teams, the current players in short shorts, very few old players in game and the old school team logos which are the only things that seem to be right). I have tried the jsgme PROGRAM too but gives me the same results.

My NBA2K10 folder contains all my original files (there are no subfolders). I made a copy of it and back it up in a seperate folder under backupNBA2k10.

I then extracted all the contents of the rar files into the original NBA2k10 folder. Therefore in the NBA2k10 folder I have the original files and now the subfolders created by extracting the rar files into the NBA2K10 folder.

Here's the part which I might be doing wrong (sorry if I sound like a total idiot but I am completely new at this and not much of a techie...I JUST WANT SOME OLD SCHOOL HOOPS!!!!). Am I suppose to just move all the mod files out into the NBA2K10 folder which will overwrite some of the existing files?

Your instructions to:
- Download any mod you want and place the new files inside the copied folder. (except the saves file, place those in your normal saves folder)

You say all files except the saves files place them in the "normal saves folder" do you mean leave them in the saves folder that was created when I first extracted the rar files (as my original NBA2k10 folder only has files no sub folders). Can you clarify for me what "saves folder" your talking about.

PLEASE HELP, I AM DESPERATE...my favourite era in NBA 90's, help me relive those days, thanks guys.

I can't even get 1 MOD running properly. I heard that sometimes the saves file is hidden? Can anyone let me know how to unhide it?

I'll try that when I get home. Also I'm in Australia and have I presume the Australian release/version of the game, would that be a reason why these retro season patches/mods don't work properly?

Thanks for replying btw.

I used "Folder Options" and clicked show hidden files and folders but still can't see the "Saves File/Folder". Tried the 97 mod which gave me the same mich-mash as before. Can someone help, PLEASE?
