The Charlotte Bobcats are the youngest Franchise in the NBA since being founded in 2004.While the club has not been a stand out success with some bad 1st round draft picks, the Bobcats are getting on the right track behind owner Michael Jordan. Head Coach Larry Brown telling the media "I think this is a big season for us, expect the roster to be shaken up." Last year saw a breakout season with the Bobcats advancing to the post season for the first time since joining. Unfortunately the fairytale ended suddenly being swept by Division rival in the Orlando Magic. This season All Star and Team Captain Gerald Wallace has assured that fans won't see anything like that again and that they have had a taste and are back for more.

"Expect the roster to be shaken up" where the words muttered by Coach Brown to the Media last week. This should come as exciting news to Bobcats fans as this roster does have holes to fill with the loss of Chandler and Felton in the offseason. "We have a very good, young group, but i admit there are holes that are needed to be filled if we want to be a powerhouse in the East". Brown also announced the Starters for Charlottes season opener against the Mavericks in Dallas. "We know how good this team is and with the Mavs also eliminated in the first round round of the Playoffs last season both teams are hurting"

Check mine out, I got my Bobcats team to the second round of the playoffs, before falling to LeBron's Cleveland.

My starting five was Chandler, Walter Herrmann, Wallace, Jason Richardson, Felton with Diaw, and Jackson on the bench. Also had sharpshooter Anthony Morrow.

TRACEY: Im here with Bobcats star shooting guard Stephen Jackson, Stephen we are here at the last day of the preseason how do you think it went for you guys?
JACKSON: Great, we only went 4-4 but this is a new roster and i feel like all the players got a really good feel with each other.
TRACEY: The season opener against Dallas how do you think you will go.
JACKSON: We will win. We've beaten this team before we can do it again. We fly to Dallas Saturday night which gives us 3 days in Dallas to prepare which is a lot longer then we usually have. We are confident that if we keep Dirk quite, we can keep the crowd quite and come away with the W.
TRACEY: Now this team made the playoffs last year. How much did that mean to you guys?
JACKSON: Well i went to the finals with the Spurs so i knew what to expect but it was great for players like Gerald and DJ. Being swept was no fun but we know what to expect now, I think we can make some noise in the East. We like the fact that we can go under the radar as people think that the East is already set in stone come playoff time. I think being the dark horse is a great thing i mean you only had to watch the Bucks last season. But we think we have a very high chance of not just making it back their but making some noise. The whole of Charlotte got behind us last year it would be great if that happened again.
TRACEY: Now i think i have asked just about everyone this summer but what do you think about the Heat?
JACKSON: Ill let you know after the game at Boston.
TRACEY: To you personally we have seen you play in Europe, the NBL in Australia and 7 different NBA teams. Are you planning to finish a career with the Bobcats or could we see you in a new jersey sometime soon?
JACKSON: Look, i just a new contract and haven't been here very long but i am getting older i mean ill be 33 when the playoffs start i want to be able to add another championship to my name. I think with some good trades the Bobcats can help me achieve that but i love going new places i want to end my career with my head held high so im not to sure at the moment.
TRACEY: Thanks for your time Stephen
JACKSON: Anytime.

Larry Brown had this to say after his teams loss.
"We aren't worried yet we are only 2 games through a very log season. Today would of been hard to watch as we let the game slip through our hands. Fortunately Nazr Mohammed who was injured in the 2nd qtr is available for selection. This game had its positives. Gerald shows that he still has another All Star year in him and i think Livingston, Thomas and Jackson all played good games. The bench needed to step up but we are a young team. We can only get better. We look forward to our game at the Bradley Centre. The Bucks are a team that like us focuses on D I look forward to a low scoring scrappy game. We'd love to see as many Charlotte fans as possible to get behind us. Thank you"
