List of Superstar Moves

Postby artestfighttrainer on Wed Sep 28, 2005 12:26 am

This is all of the moves for each superstar type from IGN's articles on each one. Hopefully it makes it easier for you ppl with live 06 out there ;)
Any mistakes or stuff to add just post em so I can fix em up. For PC (Added), PS2 (All were in Xbox, translated for PS2 ppl) and XBox. If you want more detail about each move go to http://sports.ign.com/news/basketball.html , scroll down the page and you will see each profile for each superstar type. Kudos to IGN for posting them.

Update: I think this hasn't been posted. Your player has to be able to crossover.

Right Analog Flick Up + Left Analog Hold Up(Facing Front of Ring): Dribbles around back then crosses over

Update #2

This is for every system (pc, ps2, xbox even gamecube though I am not posting its button lettering/symbols, you can figure it out from what I'm going to write below) Please use common sense if you are having trouble.

Follow this if you are still confused. For example if one of the moves says press prohop function it is whatever button is assigned to it. Please check controller options in the options menu in live 06. It is basic substitution

Please note that Left Trigger = Superstar button

Can you do a hook shot without being an "inside scorer"???

i'd like to make Duncan a shooter so he can do the bank shot but I don't want to give up the hook shots!!!

You can still do the normal 2005-like hookshot, the inside scorer one is a bit different though. Kind of like a running one handed shot, a bit different than a hook.

Thanks for the answer Cameron. I think I'll make Duncan a shooter and just use the old hook shot. i don't think he needs to be able to do the other "Inside Scorer" moves like double clutches and runners.

i'd much rather be able to shoot bank shots and the fake pass and shoot. Duncan does play a lot of back to the basket but Live never gives him the proper perimeter game.

No probs, I may be wrong but I think I'm pretty accurate. If you do make him a shooter though make sure you're not burying threes with him ;)

Hi, I don't quite get how to execute the superstar moves. I playing on the PC version.

when a player gets a ball or something, the symbol below him flashes? And then? I press the superstar button, but no menu comes up to choose a move? I'm sure iverson is a scorer, in the RBK all stars team. Also when some opponent runs into a certain spot, some symbol appears on the court, with an arrow. Is that showing me my playbook or something.

after you hold down the Superstar Button you have to hit either the shoot, pass, jump, dunk button to do a move
