Outside stoppers actually need 85 quickness, not speed. :) (I don't know why u have to be that quick to be a stopper though, kinda silly.)

Just putting down what the guide said, I don't have the game yet so I haven't checked.

But I would makes sense that it would be quickness.

Have you checked it in the game already?

naw Jugs, I was flipping throught it at EBgames today. Went there to trade in some games, traded in 10 games and got 50 bucks back :)

So I'm going to get Live for PC and also 2k6 for Xbox considering my savings :)

Yeah, but what about guys like Artest... he's as good a outside stopper as there is... there's no way he warrants a 85 in quickness though. Get me? So now to give him his outside stopper ability, we have to overrate him.

My point is i think EA set the bar a little high for the ratings needed to make a superstar.

artest's 85 in quickness is PRETTY bad. They should somehow make exceptions to their rules and just program some players as superstars. just a few, one key example is artest.

artest doesn't have 85 for speed.......he is quick, though as in real life. he has 68 or 70 somethign in speed i think.....he isn't fast at all compared to others.

my point was that there are exceptions to these:

O. Stopper= speed 85, stealing 80, D. aware 80

cause artest isn't fast at all.

I noticed Bill Russell (Ok not so important) wasn't an inside stopper...
His strength is 60, when I upped it to 80 I could then choose him as an inside stopper, now correct me if I'm wrong but since he's 99 block and 99 def reb it would seem reasonable to have him at atleast 80 power+.

I totally understand what you mean about the outside stoppers now though, I hadn't really thought about Artest, he definately isn't that quick though.

Joe Johnson is a playmaker and his Passing is around 75 isn't he?
I guess there may be a few exceptions to the rule.
Bored.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum but have been playing NBA Live for years. I still am not able to figure how the Slider work. I was just wandering if there is any documentation that defines all the setting in the Slider menu. I am going to start a new Season and I am pretty good in ALL-STAR. I am looking to move up to Superstar but the computer also blows me away in the 4th quarter. I was just wandering if there is a way to make the computer play a realistic game.

Thanks in advance for everyone suggestions

Ok, I realized that in my dynasty he is a playmaker, not in default, but his passing is 77 though??

Shooter= FG 80, 3 pnt 80, FT 85

Shooters don't need 85 FT, I think they only need 80. Vince is a shooter, and I think Tmac is too, Vince shot 79 or 80% from the line, and Tmac, I think 78%.
