Devin, guys, i have a prob, i dbf edited my char into a highflyer. followed the rating needed but nothing happens.. im using clippers. what do you think is the prob. is it only one high flyer allowed per team(i doubt though).

I think the prob is that you edited it DBF, because there's an extra catagory in the dbf for superstar freestyle that you'll have to edit since you edited it through dbf. hope that helps, I remember seeing it somewhere in there.

but how come my friend successfully edit his char making him a playmaker? well anyway ill check the "extra category for superstar freestyle" when i get back home..

does anyone how to distinguish if the power player you're creating is a physically dominating one (shaq style) or athletically dominant (amare)?

if you edit the dbf during the season of your dynasty you have to wait till the off season to see the changes u can tell by checking the player evolution screen...that worked for me

did you do 85 quickness or speed?

I'm pretty sure I put 85 on speed, but I'll double check.

If you did put it on Speed, change it to Quickness. Somebody should just edit the first post, for those people too lazy to read on and see that it was an error.

Laxation, as a Pistons fan, I thought you'd be defending Rip and his .452 pct. (14-31) from behind the arc this year. Up until this point he hasn't shown much range, but it's obvious he's worked hard each year on trying to improve his percentages from further from the basket. In another few years, he may be a sharp shooter from way downtown.

hey im having a problem regarding the superstar moves. when i create a player i made him a highflyer and outside stopper. but after i edited the database for the portrait and cbface he cannot performe the said abilities though he has the icon of it..

what do you think the problem is?

the reason why artest is a good defensive player is because he can put his body in front of his man very quick. he can move very quick side to side, but he can not sprint......just like marbury crosses over people but he is not fast runner......get it?

He should become it right away.

i think after a dynasty year because for him to be a highflyer you need to edit other stuff, see this thread and maybe you can make him become a highflyer straight away

I'm trying to assign Superstar abilities to some players on the Euroleague mod but I don't know exactly how to do it. Is it enough changing their ratings according to the info posted in the frist message? Or do I need to open players.dbf and edit any fields? Can I do it without executing the game?

The difference between athletic dominant and power dominant is only the weight?

Does the 3PT rating affect whether a player is an Outside Scorer? I was tinkering with player ratings, and lowered Joe Johnson's 3PT rating from 82 (latest NLSC patch) to 78 (something that I thought was more appropriate given his lower 3pt% this season). When I checked the Freestyle Superstar options for the Hawks, he no longer showed up. Even when I changed the rating back to the way it was, he still didn't qualify as a FSS. Can anyone tell me what happened?
