This topic is for people who continue to play 06 and want to use patches made for 07 in this version of NBA Live.

how about scoreboards and shoe patches?

07 scoreboard




Compatibility: It shows up and keeps score...but doesnt tell you which score is what team. and if you pause the game the overlay disappears


Ive never done shoe patches, so maybe you could try those?

This is a good subject matter to discuse. I'm still playing 06, since the game play of 07 really sucks. I've been using the cf patches from 07 in 06. And I've notice a difference in the size of the player's faces. I did copy the appropriate .ebo files over from 07 and placed them in \sgms, but to no avail. Got any ideas?

for the most part yes, it should be easy to convert


just open up a roster patch from this year, and a patch from last year and see if you need to add or remove and columns

nope they do not, jersey fsh files got switched around

I did all that, but when I try to load the roster the game crashes. Any advice?

only use the players.dbf, try that

That is what I did, I even made all the people on the new teams free agents so not to many teams either. I think it might have to do with player id's.

I do to, but I don't want to spend a few hours correcting all the id's. Also why would the ids be messed up, there aren't any doubles?

I copied the player .dbf from 07 all the way over to speechid and copied it to 06 and I copied the appearance.dbf as well. Without the appearance.dbf some players would have no appearance values assigned to them in 06.

I have 3 questions...

1. If I have both NBA Live 06 and NBA Live 07 loaded on my PC. How can extract speech IDs from 07 and use them in 06?


2. will shoes that were made for 07 show up and work in 06? (there's newer shoes I need such as the new D. Wade's and the new Iverson's)


3. I read where you said jerseys from 07 wont work in 06. So how would i go about getting the new jerseys I need such as:

Milwaukee Bucks

Toronto Raptors

Charlotte Bobcats Alternate

New Jersey Nets Alternate

Utah Jazz Alternate

Washington Wizards Alternate

I remember back in NBA Live 04, it was possible to have the flat image of jerseys and the use a program to open up the jerseys file and add the image over the existing jersey(such as when the Grizzlies and the Magic changed). Is this approach possible for NBA Live 06 and if so can I get some help?

I've tried to get an 07 roster working in my version of 06 - without any luck.

I've installed v1.00 NLSC for 07, and copied the files over it from RyanP, but that didn't work.

I've tried to install Jimmy's 4.05 roster pack for 07, but couldn't figure out if it was supposed to be installed to the save game folder, or the game installation folder.

I also tried opening the players.dbf files for v1.00 NLSC 07 & v1.08 NLSC 06 to compare columns - deleted the extra columns from the v1.00 file - and that didn't work.

Any suggestions would be great - I'm just waiting on getting this damn roster working so that I can start playing some ball!!

i used replaced my old player.dbf and appearance dbf with that of RyanP's and it works fine but the head of all da rookies is pink and their shoes aswell....wut do i do?

I got a question for Lagoa's court patches-

Do I just extract all the files in the RAR in my SGSM folder?
