Haha thats like a phone book, it would be a lot easier just to get a gamepad... your pocket money would be worth millions by the time you got used to that.
I'll be back for EASO 2007, feel the terror like its 05 again i own this game!!

I've been using PPJoy since NBA Live 06. My main problem now is this.. how can you change superstar types (for superstars having more than 1 type) using PPJoy. It says from the manual that you have to press the analog stick. Can you do that in PPJoy? :?

For those who are already using PPJoy before 07.. Here is my tutorial..

1)Put your past .jfg file that you have been using in the past Lives in your configs in 07 then run the game..
2)then go to Options->Configure controller..
3)select your .jfg file then stay at offense/defense tab
4)then when you see the buttons(ex.button5 for pass),
5)Open the PPJoyKey then open your .ini file
6)then change the key in button5 of your PPJoyKey .ini file to let you make a pass..

Just do the rest... PM me if you have some questions..
I'll answer it if I can.. 8-)

lafce, i don't knwo what your problem might be then, if you set everything correctly it should work fine as it is working for everyone else
Maybe try from the start once more?

Quattro, You have to press the freestyle buttons
Z Axis - = Freestyle move (Keyboard: E)
Z Axis + = Freestyle move (Keyboard: F)
Z Rotation - = Freestyle Crossover/Spinmove (Keyboard: C)
Z Rotation + = Backdown (Keyboard: Left Ctrl)
in rapid succesion to do the various other superstar moves includiong dunks

Is there a way to use this for a real joystick?
I mean, that I play NBA Live with a joystick and Id like to use the freestyle moves as well...

Anybody posted about this issue before?

If you know the direction of the right analog stick for your keyboard, then just follow the directions in the Dunk combinations..

There is no constant combination for the keyboard, it's you who choose your controls..

So it goes like this:
if your left righ analog key is J,then your right is L and your down is K, press JKL to perform a half-circle rotation..

understand me??

Why EA Sports doesn't consider proper mapping of analog controls in the KEYBOARD for the PC version of their game? So a Joypad would be just an optional requirement for the PC-console not an essential part for proper enjoyment. Since from my point of view, the PC Version was just a rush-ported version of the game from PS2 or XBOX (rush w/out proper redesigning of codes from the console to the Windows environment - its like they got lazy testing a game which they think is very superb and bug-ridden!). Although their super-promoted version was coming along with PS3, their PC version was just the worst in the system! It's obviously uncovered many bugs and inconsistencies that came to the point that the PC-release was untolerable. Unlike before where the bugs are tolerable for most of us. This mapping of controls might be tolerated by most of us since before but I think now EA Sports should somehow consider this on their upcoming patch for Live 07. I hope... For the happiness of keyboard players...

another advantage of using keyboard/ppjoy is in freethrows. unlike in joystick, you need not worry about having your right analog being pushed to the left or right. all you need are 2 buttons and correct timing.
