Alrighty, here's a workaround in case they don't bring the download button back. Right click and view the source code on the video page, then search for flv. It should find a URL like this:

Code: Select all
http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/nba10/3423529/751A0001_0_FLV_VIDEO_UTl.flv

That's your video. (Y)

That's handy. (Y) Hopefully they keep it, but at least we've got a workaround.

How do you find your uploaded screens online? I've taken a few and uplaoded them, but I don't know where to find them. Is that how most story-makers gget their screens?

I've noticed that players ranked low (usually below 60 overall) get deleted in between seasons. Can you predict who will get deleted or is it just random? Do the players have to have been on expiring contracts to get deleted?

Just wondering as I have identified $230m worth of scrub contracts in my dynasty that I want to 'amnesty'. It'll put 10 teams at least $20m under the salary cap for next season and would rejuvinate the whole free agent period. I'm sick of players signing one-year MLE deals for every team, every season.

I'm going to experiment with it anyway, so if no-one knows it doesn't matter. (Y)

I'm fairly certain it's the lowest of the low rated players that get pruned from season to season. I don't think there's any additional criteria.

It would be much easier if you could just edit player contracts. Or if the AI teams didn't sign rubbish bench players to 4 year/$45m deals. :facepalm2:

Something to work on for EA in future years perhaps.

The beauty of PC versions, we can easily access the save files and make modifications and fixes.

Shaun Livingston $12m per season? A 33 year old Dahntay Jones $12m per season for 3 years? Kelenna Azubuike $12m per season when you already have DeMar DeRozan and Wesley Matthews on your team? Sebastian Telfair $14m per season for 3 years?

I'm just doing these teams a favour and hopefully making the off-season more exciting. I'm sick of superstars signing 1 year MLE deals every season.

Yeah, those go a little beyond the occasional role player getting grossly overpaid.

I have a question regarding the offensive playbook. What exactly does selecting the player associated with it do? So far, I don't seem to be seeing any difference when I change the player.

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this site and have been an NBA Live fan since about 07. I have been playing this game for a few years, mostly in the dynasty game mode. The two questions I have are in the dynasty season game mode is there a way to enhance player development? I have used the training option to increase individuals and the teams performance. After the training session it shows what has improved for each player but does this affect their overall stats? What are the best options for player development and overall rating increase, especially rookies? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The second question is there an option for a shortened season? I know a bunch of other games that offer a shortened seasons and wasn't sure if me not seeing one was correct.

Thanks

i know there isnt an option for shorter seasons, which sucks

training should affect ratings.

Yea I was just curious because when I look under their stats it shows the original and current in which most of them haven't gone up yet. This could be attributed to the fact Ive only had two training days in the current season.

You won't see massive changes during the season. Significant player development and decline takes place during the offseason.
