NBA LIVE 10 starting to freeze halfway in the quarter.

Since the update or a little while after my nba live 10 is starting to freeze a lot. It starts with a little bit of slowdown , then it lags then it completely freezes.

anyone else been having this problem? I tried uninstalling it from my harddrive and reinstalling, didn't work and also playing off disc didn;t work. Weird stuff.

other games like fight night 4 work fine.

Any suggestions?

I believe it's an issue with the update because it's happened to me as well, I've included it in the bug list that I sent to EA.

Have had same problem - just hoping next patch will fix it, as well as numerous other issues.

I'm going to install the game to hard drive and see if that helps at all ....

edit: installed to hard drive, last until just after the start of the 2nd qtr ... ffs!

i deleted the settings file and tried.....and it seems to happen during a replay so i managed to press the replay away as fast as possible and i lasted untill the 2nd quarter and then a friend came online on screen and it froze. game is unplayeable liek this. its ridiculous.

i removed my harddrive and played agaisnt a friend and it was possible. it has to do with the update or the rosters or the dynamic dna file. i dont feel like removing everything, cause it might ask me to purchase dynamic dna and i also have some nice replays in there.

i went back to playing nba 2k9 and fight night and madden today.

I'd say it's a symptom of the assorted replay issues caused by the update. Hopefully we'll get a new fix within the next couple of weeks.

yeah i guess so.......but in the meantime i can't play one game. only without updates and my hard drive. at least they could put out a patch to amek that issue go away. I just want to play the game at this point.

No doubt, it's frustrating. It's only happened to me once but I didn't exactly feel like firing up the game again after it happened.

I've played a lot of games since the patch came out, and It didn't happen to me untill yesterday. I was playing dynasty game against GSW and during 2nd QT the game frozen, I've restarted my console (X360) and played once again. The game frozen again this time in 3rd QT so I gave up. I hope there will be a new patch solving this soon.
Those freezes are not the result of bad disc or console errors. I have my NBA installed on HDD, and It didn't occour any time before, even when I didn't have it installed.

yeah it's very weird i think i know what the problem is.....I could play after the patch and i had no problems. I think it happened when the Dynamic DNA got installed or somethign. One of the DNA updates after the patch might be causing the crash. It may be a file that is corrupt somewhere and it's conflicting with the replays. I don;t know how or what these have to do with one another, but i think that is it. Cause nothign ahs changed with my HD or the Disc.

I haven't played since. I might sell the game and get another one untillt he patch comes out and then buy the game for cheaper or trade for it.

NBA 2k10 is havign BS prolems after patch aswell so i am playing 2k9 with updated rosters again.

My game froze after 3 quarters when I was playin my brother. I got mad, cause the game was close. . .They should let you take the patch off as an option. The game played better before the patch

That's the problem with the 360. You can get rid of updates by clearing the cache, but that'll wipe the updates for your entire library.

Not much of an issue to download the updates again I suppose, especially if there's only a couple you're still playing.

yep. same with me.
played it last night and it was ok.
then today, i have not been able to complete 1 game out of 6-7 that i have tried.
hope EA get their arses moving and fix the bloody thing.
